My Ideal Travel Plans

17:30

Travelling is something that I would love to do. The idea of seeing new places, taking amazing photos and experiencing new cultures is something that really appeals to me. I have to admit, I do spend a lot of my time daydreaming and planning my future trips, with each one jam-packed with everything you can think of; I can't wait until I can actually go and explore all these amazing places that I hear being talked about. I would love to take a gap year between A-Levels and Uni to go travelling, working for a few months then travelling for the next couple of months. I think it would be so amazing and a well needed break from school and work! So today I thought I would share with you what I would do if I got the chance to go travelling - I maybe wouldn't visit all of these places in one gap year but over time I would love to see every single place.

The first place that I would love to visit is India. For some reason, the culture really intrigues me- it is so different to the  culture in the UK. The building there look beautiful and so grand I would love to see them. And there are so many different places to go to in India, you get completely different experience from just one country (the fact that I might get a chance to ride an elephant whilst there does make me even more keen to go there I have to admit!) My Grandad also lived there for a while when he was younger - he doesn't remember it now as he was too young but I really want to see where he spent some of his childhood.

In Europe, there are so many countries and cities that I would love to visit I don't even know where to start! The first place I would have to say is Paris. For so long I have longed to go here just because it is Paris. The whole idea and romance behind the city have completely intrigued me and I am so happy that I will be going there this October! For my birthday my mum has bought us two tickets and we are going to stay in a lovely little Parisian hotel for a lovely girly weekend! I can't wait although I think my mum might hate me by the end as I will be wanting to spend the whole weekend exploring but I think her holidays are slightly more relaxed! There are also so many other cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Rome, and so much more I can't begin to list them all!

Of course, a place everyone has to visit at least once in their life is New York. I am so jealous as my mum gets to go there this summer! Again this is another city, like Paris, that has been talked and talked about, everyone saying how great it is; the city that never sleeps, I want to feel and see the magic that everyone else has seen. What would be my absolute dream , is to fly out to NY, and then rent a car and drive across America, visiting everywhere that I want to see, making my way to California.

I suppose I also want to see the less travelled places, the ones no one has every heard of but they are undeniably beautiful and exciting places. I don't really have any places that I know of as, I suppose the idea of these places are that they aren't well known, I don't really know where to look to find them. I think these places will be the ones you stumble upon when you are travelling; they are not the places you research for hours in advance, more like a two minute description from a fellow traveller to persuade you that you have to see it.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and hope you guys all have a lovely weekend! Where would you love to travel?

  7. I want to travel to every single one you've mentioned, but I'd love to go to Australia and any of the Malaysian countries. I've always wanted to ride on an elephants back but my boyfriend told me he's done it in Thailand but later learned you're not supposed to because their spines aren't designed to carry heavy weights and you could in fact break their spine. Sorry massive animal lover over here just thought I'd share. Lovely read though Kizzi! xx

  9. If you ever get to India make sure to go down to Kerala in the South - I'm biased because it's where I'm from, but it's so beautiful and peaceful! New York and Paris never get old. I'm visiting Cuba this year which has been top of my bucket list for ages, super excited!
