AN ATTEMPT AT A MANGO SMOOTHIE

17:27

Now, this was not what I originally set out to make as I wanted to make a nice mango smoothie but ended up with a mango smoothie bowl. I am going to call it a very simple smoothie bowl as they normally have nuts, seeds and more fruit, however when I went to pour it into my glass it was way to thick and would have taken me hours to drink! So I threw it into a bowl and called it a smoothie bowl!

Recently, I have found that I have been thinking more about what I eat and trying to add things to my diet that have been missing, and reducing the things that I don't need (I can't completely cut out ice cream so that will have to stay!). I always say that if it doesn't tast nice then there is no point in having it. This is why I think I have never really been bothered with what I eat but for some reason I really want to change that. I have never really been a breakfast eater but I now pretty much always have a bowl of cereal and ,in the summer, I plan on finding some new recipes that I can experiment with to make my diet a little bit more interesting, but also makeing sure that it still taste amazing! Do you ever find you are so bored with what you eat you want to completely change everything you eat? Well if you do that's what I'm feeling at the moment. So this is me at the beginning of my healthy eating change!

This is seriously the most simple thing in the world, perfect if you want something quick and healthy for breakfast or just as a nice refreshing snack that isn't too filling. Again I made way too much (I feel as though this was a bit of an experiment for me...) and I had to share bowl as there was no way I could finish! So I shall get onto the recipe! It really is very simple...

- 100g of frozen mango (or fresh but I find this is cheaper and lasts longer, I also used about 250g which is perfect for two people)
- 1 Banana
- Some apple juice
- Some mango juice

Now all you have to do is blend it all together and voila! If you are using fresh mango and actually want a smoothie bowl, then add some ice cubes as well. Hope you have more success in making the perfect smoothie bowl then me!

Have you ever made a smoothie bowl? And if you have any healthy ,but still tastey, recipies make sure to comment them below!
